An Opt-in Checkbox is a type of form field used to sign up for marketing or promotional emails. Opt-in Checkboxes make it easy to organize and filter submissions by a specific interest, and to share contest entries or form submissions with a sponsor or other third party.
Creating an Opt-in Checkbox
To create an Opt-in Checkbox, follow these steps:
1) Open the form in Megaphone Studio.
2) Select Add > Opt-in Checkbox

3) In the Edit Field pane, enter the Opt-in Checkbox label.

Downloading Opted-in Entries or Submissions
To download "opted in" entries or form submissions, follow these steps:
1) Open the form in Megaphone Studio.
2) Select Submissions.
3) In the Search bar, click the filter button.
4) Under Field, choose the opt-in checkbox.
5) Click Apply.

6) Click Download Matches.

7) On the Download Form Submissions dialog, click Download.

Sharing Opted-In Entries or Submissions with a Sponsor
To share "opted in" contest entries or form submissions with a sponsor or third party, follow the steps below. To protect the privacy of the people who opted in, you can share opted-in contest entries and form submissions without ever seeing them yourself.
1) Open the form in Megaphone Studio.
2) Select Submissions.
3) Select Share > Share Submissions.

4) Enter the email address of the person you want to send the entries or submissions to, then click Next.

5) Under What would you like to share?, choose which opted-in entries or submissions you'd like to share.

6) Click Share.
When you share entries or submissions with someone, they'll receive an email with a secure link to view, search, and download the entries.
